Where to start…
For a few years it's been touch and go — from playing games with 12 players, calling games off, nearly folding, to gradually building every year. We have slowly grown and got better and better every single game.
There's been setbacks (losing to Taffs Well at the start of the year 🙄) but there's been more positives than negatives.
Rugby is a tough sport. It's hard when kids grow at different speeds or progress in different ways — but to turn up to today's festival, concede only one try, and probably play the best rugby I've seen in a long time just makes all the hard work worth it. Thank you all for sticking with it and supporting the lads.
Someone said it earlier, but that cup was 10 years in the making — and what's even more special is they all had such a big part to play in it.
Buzzing for the lads to actually get something for all their hard work and effort. 💪🏆
