Whitchurch put on a superb display at the iconic Cardiff Arms Park, delivering a dominant and disciplined performance to run out convincing winners over Taffs Well.

From the outset, Whitchurch imposed themselves on the game. Early pressure was converted into points when Sam opened the scoring — sniping at the breakdown for the first champagne moment of the game and a 0–5 lead. The momentum continued as Jay crossed soon after, doubling the advantage to 0–10.

Whitchurch's attacking confidence grew with every phase. Josh T added the third try for the second champagne moment of the day, before Luca finished off another strong attacking move — set up brilliantly by Ben drawing the man — to take the score to 0–20. The pressure told again when Rory powered over for the fifth try, converted by Luca, extending the lead to 0–27.

A further try from Rory capped a relentless first-half performance, sending Whitchurch into the break with a commanding 0–32 lead.

The second half began exactly as the first had ended, with Theo crossing early to stretch the score to 0–37. To their credit, Taffs Well showed real fight and were rewarded with two second-half tries, narrowing it to 12–37 — but Whitchurch remained composed and defensively solid to see out the game comfortably.

This was a complete team performance — clinical in attack, organised in defence, and full of energy from start to finish. A memorable win on a famous stage, and one the players can be rightly proud of. 🏉
